What Happens at the End of the Universe
The universe can be defined as the totality of all space, time, matter, energy, and phenomena, including everything that has existed, now exists and will exist in the future.
It is a marvelous region of incredible potential that has galaxies, stars, planets and other bodies in motion and interacting, engaging in a stellar ballet. Everything in the universe is regulated by the physical laws that range from the quantum level to the cosmic scale. Astronomers approximate that the universe is about 13 billion years old.
About 8 billion years old, starting with the Big Bang, a fantastic explosion that formed the foundations of our reality. Even though people have been studying the universe for hundreds of years, many things are still not fully understood, such as dark matter and energy, of which the universe is chiefly comprised.
With every discovery and every research we do about the universe, we are always brought back to our size and insignificance within this grand scheme of things as well as the vast potential it holds.
