Astronomers have detected a weird heart-shaped radio signal from space. It’s a fast radio burst (FRB) whose origin is one of the biggest unsolved problems in astronomy. The signal is unusually long: about 3 seconds, and has bursts of high-intensity radiation every 0.2 milliseconds.
