We Are in the Process of Discovering a New Planet in the Solar System. And It Is Huge!
Solar System refers to a dispersed and complex structure in space, which is made up of the Sun and any celestial bodies that revolve around it. In its core there is the Sun. , a nearly perfect spherical mass of hot plasma which is vital to life on earth as well as other planets in the solar system.
The Solar System is also composed of eight larger planets: These are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These are all in an elliptical orbit but none is the same size, composition , or even atmospheric conditions depending on the distance from the sun.
Beside the seven large planets, there are several dwarf planets like Pluto and many other minor planets thousands of which are still located in the Solar System, such as asteroids in the asteroid belt surrounding the orbits of Mars and Jupiter and comets and meteoroids in the Kuiper Belt in the outer fringes of the Solar System.
The Solar System also contains the Oort cloud, a presumed thin, spherical layer of cytoplasmic icy bodies credited for long period comets. In total, the given celestial bodies make up the intricate and ever dynamic system that is currently the object of interest for scientific studies and astronomical investigation of the planetary systems and their formation.
Scientists agree that something strange is going on in the dark zone behind Neptune. Are we about to discover a new planet there? If that’s the truth, then it’s huge: about 10 times the size of our Earth, this planet would be a scientific wonder! But why have we overlooked it so far?
