This Lab Became The Coldest Place In The Known Universe
Scientists have recorded the coldest temperature ever measured in a lab. They achieved a temperature of just 38 trillionths of a degree above -273.15 °C. This experiment made the lab the coldest place in the known universe.
It is also the closest temperature ever achieved to near absolute zero (0 kelvin).
But achieving near-absolute temperatures is not a straightforward task. So how did the researchers do it?
