Scientists Reveal That Time Travel May Be ‘Mathematically Possible
Australian Physicists Resolve Time Travel Paradox, Showing It Could Be Possible According to Einstein’s Theory
Australian physicists have demonstrated that time travel is possible in theory by attending to the issue of concoined grandfather paradox. The scientists at the University of Queensland have integrated the Einstein’s general relativity with the classical dynamics and proved that time travel paradigms, including altering past events, are possible while not generating any paradox. They also showed their model on how events might change to shift away from paradoxes with reference to the current coronavirus pandemic. This study suggests that time travel, despite being quite complicated is not paradoxical and can be achieved based on some mathematical theories existing today.
According to some members of the scientific community in Australia they have found that time travel is theoretically possible based on the solution to one of the logical paradoxes. Physicists at the University of Queensland repeat this process using mathematical modeling to solve the so called ‘grandfather paradox’ associated with Einstein’s theory of general relativity and classical dynamics.
According to Einstein’s theory, the possibility of time travel can make a person go back to his past or perhaps change the event and therefore not existing because my grandfather does not exist. But classical dynamics suggests that they should result in a chain of events that will guarantee that the time traveler is never born at all.
The Kent State University researcher Germain Tobar adding, “As physicists, we attempt to discover the fundamental rules of the universe. For years, I’ve tried to understand how dynamics may catch up with Einstein’s hypotheses. Is time travel realistic?”
To illustrate this, Tobar and Dr. Costa applied the coronavirus pandemic as a model of how these two forms of capital function in society. They built a plot with a very specific timeframe where the main character tries to stop the first patient from getting infected with Covid-19.
Einstein’s theory provides possibility to travel in time; however, classical dynamics should suggest that certain events cannot be changed. If the time traveler did manage to stop the virus then this would erase his purpose for going back in time in the first place.
Tobar said: “Suppose you attempted to prevent your younger self from becoming infected by patient zero; you yourself would become infected by the virus or somebody else would and the events would shift around it, and your younger-self would have reason to go back in time and because regardless of your actions the occurrences change position to avoid causal loops. ”
That the mathematical processes discovered showed that free-will time travel is possible in the universe without paradoxes. When asked for comment Dr. Fabio Costa who supervised the research said that ‘the math works – the results are sci-fi. ’
A paper detailing the research was published in the journal Classical and Quantum Gravity.
