NASA Scientist Finally Confirms the Presence of Water on the Moon!
The Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) mission detected the presence of water on the Moon’s surface. The water was found in the form of ice on the floors of some of the Moon’s polar craters that are permanently in shadow.
Further studies have also found that water is more widespread on the Moon than previously thought. In 2020, NASA announced that its Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) had detected water molecules in Clavius Crater, one of the largest craters visible from Earth.
The discovery of water on the Moon is significant because it could potentially be used as a resource for future human exploration and habitation on the Moon. Water can be used for drinking, growing plants, and even as a source of fuel for rockets.
In this exciting and groundbreaking video, we dive into the recent discovery made by NASA scientists confirming the presence of water on the Moon!
After years of research and analysis, this momentous finding has the potential to reshape our understanding of lunar geology and future space exploration.
