James Webb Telescope Just Announced ‘JuMBO’ Discovery of Planet-Like objects in Orion
NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope is on a hunting spree out there in the cosmos. With every new day unfolding, the JWST maintains its streak of breakthrough discoveries. After snapping glorious bipolar jets of star matter blasting from an infant star, the JWST has voyaged nearly 1,300 light years away from the Earth, in the Orion Nebula.
There it has spotted hundreds of mysterious rocky objects that are too tiny to be called stars, but also ineligible to be called planets as they are not orbiting any parent star.
What are these? Are we missing out on something big?
