Every Stunning Image From the James Webb Space Telescope Taken During Its First Year in Space! 

One year ago, the James Webb Space Telescope began capturing incredible images, transforming our understanding of the universe. Since the first images were released, Webb has revealed new views of everything from the farthest galaxies ever observed, to many of the familiar objects we see in our own solar system.

In its first full year of science, Webb has revealed the cosmos like never before and to celebrate this incredible milestone NASA released a stunning image showing the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex – the closest star-forming region to Earth around 390 light years away.
