Did We Just Detect Life on Venus Scientist Explain!
Venus is the second planet from the Sun and is often referred to as the Earth’s sister planet because of their similar size, mass, and composition. It is a rocky planet, similar in structure to Earth, with a thick atmosphere mostly made up of carbon dioxide.
The atmospheric pressure at the surface of Venus is about 90 times greater than that of Earth, making it the hottest planet in our solar system with surface temperatures that can reach up to 864 degrees Fahrenheit (462 degrees Celsius). Venus is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. It has been explored by numerous spacecraft and is of great interest to scientists as they study its geology, climate, and potential for habitability.
As a result of its size and density being close to Earth, the two have been compared as twin planets; but there are significant distinctions between them. Scientists claim that Venus’s atmosphere may be habitable, and though it seems hard to believe, Venus has temperate and friendly upper atmospheric areas.
