Scientists Are Shocked! Is the Universe Actually an Atom?
E.g. an atom is the basic building block of matter, forming the basis for everything that exists in the universe, from our air to the stars in the sky; it consists of a central nucleus, composed of protons and neutrons, a cloud of electrons around. These subatomic particles, interacting with one another according to the rules of quantum mechanics, determine the chemical properties of the elements.
The atom is so tiny, only about one-hundred-millionth of a centimeter; however, it is capable of immense energy, as shown in nuclear reactions.
Understanding the atom shall let out the secrets of physics, chemistry, and the essence of the entire universe.
Could it really be that our vast universe is just part of something much larger? What would that mean for our understanding of space and time?
