Astronomers Have Discovered A Swarm Of Black Holes Using The Hubble Space Telescope!
A swarm of black holes is a remarkably interesting and quite a challenging astronomical concept pointing to a number of black holes that are found in the neighborhood of each other, and which are grouped within the staked prefix of a galaxy or a group of stars. Swarms can be developed by interaction gravity in regions with a large concentration of stars or from the remaining components of two galaxies that united formed a singular larger galaxy with multiple black holes.
Studying such swarms is essential to describe the processes that occur in galaxies and the part of black holes in these processes. In these groups black holes may indulge with each other as well as with other objects of the same or different groups thus becoming the part of even bigger black holes or throwing off stars and other objects at very high velocities owing to the gravitational rocket effect.
In the frame of surveys of black holes, astronomers get information about black holes’ population and its evolution, in addition, the observed samples are important for improving models describing the sources of gravitational waves.
Thanks to the recent developments in telescopes and gravity waves astronomy much attention has been paid to these unusual formations and many more secrets of the universe’s most extraordinary phenomena are unveiled.
One of the world’s most famous telescopes went searching for a single black hole, and unexpectedly found a swarm of smaller black holes instead.
Find out how the Hubble space telescope discovered the strange concentration of black holes, how they likely became a group and what will likely happen to them !
