The Strangest, Most Unbelievable Planets Discovered So Far!

Have you ever looked up into the night’s sky and wondered whether those distant flickering points of light, that we call stars, have planets orbiting them?

Every individual star that you can see with the naked eye is a part of the Milky Way Galaxy and it is estimated that on average, there is at least one planet per star, meaning that there could be more than 100 billion alien planets waiting to be discovered. A planet that orbits another star, is called an exoplanet and In the past two decades alone more than 5000 of these mysterious worlds have already been identified.

They come in a variety of ways, from gargantuan gas worlds that dwarf even Jupiter to icy hellscapes that exist at the fringes of there stars gravitational influence. Astronomers have even discovered exoplanets that exist within the habitable zone of there stars, perhaps making them suitable for life as we know it.

The boundaries of what is possible in the universe seem to change every year and with the help advancing technology, we are finding exoplanets that are so extraordinary, that only a decade ago, the existence of these worlds would have been thought of as impossible. Currently, we have only just scratched the surface of what is out there, so let’s take a look at some strange and unusual exoplanets that have been discovered so far

Beyond our solar system are magnificent, but mysterious worlds!

Some are burning hell planets, while others are frigid snow worlds and then there are those that could even be habitable.

With so many possibilities, let’s take a look at some of the strangest exoplanets that we have discovered so far!
