What El Niño will do to Earth in 2024. Scientists Worry
Over the past 50 years, the Earth’s temperature has been going up steadily. The average surface temperature has increased by about 0.23°F [0.13°C] every decade since the 1970s. This is nearly twice as much as observed during the previous half-century.
If this trend persists, we can expect a further increase in global warming. By 2050, temperatures are projected to rise by 2.7°F [1.5°C], and by 2100, they may climb by 3.6-7.2°F [2-4°C].
So what is this force behind the constant change of our planet’s climate? And how will it affect everyone on Earth?
