Parker Probe Detects Something STRANGE on Venus

Earlier this year, on its way to the sun, NASA’s Parker Solar Probe made a flyby around Venus to use its gravitational momentum. It was also an opportunity to peer through the thick toxic clouds of the Venusian atmosphere that has been a big challenge for our astronomers interested in exploring our nearest neighboring planet.

What Parker Probe’s Wide-field Imager captured piercing through these clouds blew scientists away. Venus, which is often referred to as the Evil Twin of the Earth due to being similar in size, mass, structure, and composition to our planet, has been believed to be extremely hostile to life but with recent discoveries that perception is changing.
In fact, some scientists are demanding that we explore Venus before sending a mission to Mars. Amazingly, this isn’t the first time Venus has shocked scientists and made them change how they see our neighboring planets.
